Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-09

DRAFT. This document is not yet in force: the operator details have not been filled in.

1. Parties and definitions

These terms govern the use of the marketplace platform (the "Platform") operated by «OPERATOR NAME» («COMPANY REGISTRATION NUMBER», «REGISTERED ADDRESS»).

  • User: a person who creates an account on the Platform and installs apps.
  • Developer: a person or legal entity that publishes an app on the Platform.
  • App: software that a developer runs on its own infrastructure and lists through the Platform.

2. The Platform's role

The Platform is an intermediary: it does not run third-party code on its own infrastructure. Every app runs on its developer's own servers; the Platform provides listing, review, the record of installations and the protocol that connects apps to each other. The developer of an app is responsible for its functionality, security and content.

3. Account

To create an account you must be legally able to enter into a binding contract. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure, and actions taken with your account are attributed to you. Authentication is provided by a third-party provider (Clerk); see the Privacy Policy for details.

4. Free period

The Platform is free of charge. There are no subscriptions, commissions or payment flows, and paid apps cannot be installed. This free period is temporary. When pricing is introduced, these terms will be updated and the change will be announced before it takes effect; no fee will be charged retroactively.

5. Reviews and user content

You can write reviews of the apps you have installed. You are responsible for the content of your reviews. Insults, disclosure of personal data, misleading statements, advertising and off-topic content are prohibited.

A developer cannot hide the reviews of its own app. Only the Platform can hide a review, and that decision is recorded with a reason. Users and developers can report a review they believe is abusive; the Platform decides. A hidden review is not deleted: it is kept as an audit trail and is not counted in the app's rating.

6. Prohibited uses

  • Using the Platform to access other people's accounts or data.
  • Generating reviews, reports or accounts with automated tools; manipulating ratings or queues.
  • Attempting to bypass the Platform's security measures; placing an excessive load on the service.
  • Publishing unlawful content or infringing the rights of third parties.

7. Running apps inside the Platform

When you open an installed app inside the Platform, the Platform issues a short-lived, app-specific pseudonymous identity for you. Through it the developer cannot learn your real identity, your email address or your identity in another app. Data you choose to give the app yourself is the developer's responsibility.

8. Suspension and termination

The Platform may suspend accounts and apps that violate these terms. A suspended app cannot be newly installed and cannot be opened inside the Platform. Removing an app from the store is a separate situation: existing users can continue to use the app. You can close your account at any time.

9. Intellectual property

The Platform's software, interface and trademarks belong to the operator. The intellectual property rights in apps belong to their developers. You keep the rights to the reviews you write, and you grant the Platform the license needed to publish your review on the Platform.

10. Limitation of liability

The Platform is provided "as is"; it is not guaranteed to operate without interruption or error. The Platform is not liable for damage caused by third-party apps. This limitation does not affect the rights that mandatory consumer protection law gives you.

11. Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced before they take effect, and the date at the top of the page always shows the version in force.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of «GOVERNING LAW». The courts of «VENUE» have jurisdiction over disputes. Users who are consumers keep their right to bring a claim before the consumer bodies and courts that the law of their place of residence gives them.
